Wolf Thiele

Biography:

Wolf Thiele was born in Germany and grew up there. He currently lives in Côte d‘Azur, in Monaco.

He showed his artistic talent from an early age, and many of the pictures he created during school were exhibited as exemplary student works. After completing a technical degree and an intensive degree in computer science, he combined his artistic training with his technical orientation. It shapes his current work in painting with digital and photographic means and in the creation of sculptures.

He is a member of the artists' associations and vice-president of the "Salon Libres Européens", Paris und Mitglied des Comité „International Association of Plastic Arts – with UNESCO”, Monaco and member of the artists' association "L’Aigle de Nice International”, French Riviera.

We live in a time of rapid change, those with an excess of information – Colours, Words, Tones – are connected. Against this trend, I invent another world of straightforward calm in my works, of concentration, of simplicity, which helps us to distance ourselves from all the excess, that removes us from ourselves and does not make us happy. I let this world discover us in my geometric works – "Virtual worlds" – and in my "Visages pensifs - Thoughtful Faces".
